Tipsters return for Cheltenham preview night
LAST YEAR top jockey Andrew Lynch gave lucky punters a 10-1 winning tip for Cheltenham and he's coming back to Rush again on February 27! Lynch returns to the annual charity Cheltenham preview night in Rush's Strand Bar, in aid of Pieta House, after tipping and then riding Sizing Europe to success at the Cotswolds 12 months ago.
'I'm delighted to returning to Rush for the Cheltenham night and hopefully I can give the punters a few more winners,' said Lynch. 'Last year was fantastic for me at Cheltenham and fingers crossed I have some cracking chances again this time with the likes of Rubi Light and Sizing Europe.'
The Ashbourne jockey will be joined again by an all-star cast including Peter Casey, who recently became a Youtube sensation for his comments to Tracy Piggott on RTE. Also on the panel are local trainer Ado Mcguinness, Irish Daily Star tipster Brian Flanagan, TV3'S Denis Kirwan and last but not least, legendary Monaghan trainer Oliver Brady! The always colourful Brady treated the ladies in the audience last year by stripping off his shirt to reveal a Dublin jersey and he promises a few more surprises this year!
Last year nearly €3,000 was raised on the night for Pieta House, which is the centre for the the prevention of suicide and self harm and all proceeds from the night will be going there again. There will also be a raffle on the night with the top prize of a weekend for two at Faithlegg Country House Hotel in County Waterford. So if you're looking for the inside track on Cheltenham from the top experts, and a great night's entertainment, not to mention great prizes and a few free bets, don't miss in the Strand Bar on February 27 from 8pm.
