THE COUNCIL has said that St Sylvester's GAA Club is now free to proceed with the development of a hurling wall at Broomfield in Malahide.

Asked for an update on the project by Cllr Anthony Lavin (FG) and Cllr Peter Coyle (Lab), the council said: 'Planning permission for the hurling wall has been granted and all necessary legal documentation for which the council has responsibility has been forwarded to St. Sylvester's GAA Club legal representative to allow them to proceed with the development of these facilities.'
