SKERRIES Community College had another successful year when it came to the Leaving Certificate results with more than 20 of its students scoring over 500 points in the exam.

Everyone who did their Leaving Certificate at the school made it a proud last day for retiring principal, Kevin O'Riordain who posed with some of the high achievers for pictures.

After many years of dedicated service to the school, Kevin is retiring but he was proud to be able to see out one last Leaving Certificate year and watch them collect the results they had worked so hard for and wish them luck in their future endeavours.

This time, next year, it will be the new principal Caroline Clarke who will fulfill this role on the important day in every school's calendar that is Leaving Certificate results day.
