AN 11-year-old Balbriggan girl has been tipped to be a future big star by Louis Walsh after winning the 2012 Primary School Stars final at the TLT.

Sarah Hawkshaw blew away the opposition with her version of 'When I Look at You' by Miley Cyrus, sparking an enthusiastic reaction from the X Factor supremo who was the star judge on the night. 'We have something very special here and she is the real deal,' he stated. He urged her to go for the X Factor auditions next year, declaring she was amazing. 'You are a different league and I think you'll go all the way. She performed the song, not just sang it,' he stated. The student at St Oliver Plunkett NS in Balrothery was one of the most consistent performers throughout the competition and was a deserved winner at the end. But she had to overcome another local star to claim the crown, with Eva Campbell from Skerries just behind her in second place. The Realt na Mara student sang 'Firework' and again left Louis almost speechless! 'It was a brilliant performance and I loved the version. She is another one that should go to X Factor,' he added.
