ONE OF the most popular annual fundraisers has taken place once again at a Malahide NS.

Pupils, teaching staff and parents at St. Sylvester's NS were literally licking their lips in anticipation of the cake sale, organised by the parents' association. Shoppers could choose from a wide variety of delicious homemade cakes and buns, a selection of potted plants or a large number of donated cookbooks.

A raffle was also held with hampers graciously provided by Odlums and Neven Maguire.

Another new feature also well received was the breads donated by Avoca and Supervalu.

A perennial favourite, Guess the Numbers Cake was again a huge hit, with Niamh from The Perfectionist Confectionist delighting one and all with another example of her amazing edible art.

The generosity and mouth-watering temptations provided by the families contributed to making this year's event the most successful yet; so to everyone who showed their support the Parents' Association would like to give their heartfelt thanks.
