The night will start off dry but a band of rain will move up from the south, bringing fresh to strong southeast winds. This rain will eventually clear during Wednesday afternoon only to be replaced by heavy showers of rain or hail, some of which may be thundery. Both Thursday and Friday will be cool and unsettled with a mix of bright spells and prolonged showers. Saturday will bring further heavy showers and another band of persistant rain will move over the country during the night and into Sunday.
