Michelle's marathon effort for animals

A SKERRIES model and singer has let her feet do the talking in aid of very worthy cause.
Michelle McGrath completed last week's Flora Ladies mini marathon, which attracted in the region of 40,000 runners, in aid of the ISPCA.
It is expected that over 200 animals will benefit from the funds raised during yesterday's Flora Women's Mini Marathon which took place in Dublin's city centre.
The ISPCA is a charitable organisation relying on public support through donations to carry out the vital work it does in rescuing animals that have been abandoned, abused or neglected.
With an unprecedented high level of animal cruelty cases, particularly in relation to dogs and equines, it is stretching resources.
The ISPCA is constantly under immense pressure to rescue these animals, rehabilitate them and find responsible and loving homes for them. As an organisation almost entirely reliant on public donations, we desperately need the support of the public and urge women to support the charity. For more information, visit www.ispca.ie.
