Man injured by robbers

TWO men in their 20s cornered a 33-year-old man on a caravan park in Donabate and demanded cash from the frightened victim.

While the 33-year-old male was unloading equipment from his van at the caravan park on Corballis Road, two males with scarves on their faces approached him. They told him not to move but he ran away and the two younger men set off in pursuit of him. They eventually cornered him and he was hit with a blunt instrument, sustaining minor facial wounds before he handed over a sum of money to his attackers who then ran from the scene. The incident happened at 1.15 a.m. on Monday morning. September 23.
