Local scoops €100k in Euromillions draw

A NORTH County Dublin man has claimed just over €100,000 after winning a prize in the EuroMillions draw.

The man, who wishes to remain anonymous, bought his ticket at the Applegreen station on the M1 in Lusk. He collected a cheque for €103,864 after matching five numbers. ' This is the first time I have ever won anything!', the winner said. 'I've not taken a holiday in 28 years and I think it is time for one now! I'm going to go to Brazil for Mardi Gras in February. It is something I've always wanted to do.'
