Lenten meetings to focus on hope

THE series of Lenten meetings are once again being organised by the Churches of Portmarnock and this year the theme is 'Hope in a Broken World'.
The first entitled 'Spiritual Healing' will be given by the Very Rev. Dermot Dunne (Dean of Christ Church Cathedral) on Wednesday at St Andrew's Church, Church Road, Malahide, at 8 p.m.
'Swimming against the Tide – Whistle Blowers and the Truth' will be presented by Mark Harrold and Alison Rooney on Wednesday, March 19, at St Anne's Church in Portmarnock at 8 p.m.
'Domestic and Dating Violence' will be the subject of the third presentation by Anne Marie Farrell, from Aoibhneas on Wednesday, March 26, at St. Nicholas of Myra Church, Malahide Road, Kinsealy, at 8 p.m.
'Our Personal Faith Journeys' by the Rev. Alistair Dunlop, Mr. Eamon O' Murchu, Prof. Patricia Barker will take place on Wednesday, April 2, at Malahide Presbyterian church, Dublin Road, Malahide at 8 p.m.
And finally 'Parenting in a Challenging World' will be presented by John Lonergan, the former Governor of Mountjoy Prison, on Wednesday, April 9, at St. Sylvester's Church, Malahide, at 8 p.m.
