Green light for school extension

THE BOARD of Management at St Peter and Paul's Junior National School in Balbriggan have been granted permission for a three-classroom extension to the school to replace prefabs.

Fingal County Council has granted permission for the development which will involve the replacement of a prefabricated classroom and resource room with a single-storey three classroom extension. The extension will also provide for ancillary accommodation including two resource rooms, a storage room, a services room and a wheelchair accessible toilet. There are a number of standard conditions attached to the planning permission including a demand that the classrooms not be used until the prefabs are removed from the site.
