FINGAL's NUMBER one business organisation Fingal Dublin Chamber has rounded off a very successful year with the annual Christmas lunch, The Clarion Hotel Dublin Airport was once again the venue for the annual festive lunch and there was a feel-good, optimistic air among the attendees.
Guest of honour was this year's JC Savage Fingal Business Person of the year, Caroline Keeling who is the group managing director at Keelings Group. Keelings is a family business founded over 60 years ago and now employs a staggering 2,000 people, producing fruit and vegetables for the Irish UK and European markets.
It has also recently expanded in to the massive Chinese market. 2012 has been yet another successful year for the Fingal Dublin Chamber, including the highlight of the year the Fingal Business Excellence Awards. It has also joined forces with the Dublin 15 chamber, which has create d a stronger, more robust business organisation which will grow and sustain itself with increased membership who will all benefit from chamber services and
activities. The Chamber Council now consists of 29 members representing all areas of Fingal and from a wide range of business sectors giving the Chamber a clear mandate as the voice of business in the area. Chamber CEO Tony Lambert said: 'There is so much to celebrate within the business community here in Fingal and it is important for us to ensure that we recognise the commitment, dedication and achievement of the management and staff in all our businesses.'
