SOME OF the biggest names in the Irish movie industry, including Fingal's very own Brendan Gleeson, will be arriving in Rush when production of the €6m film 'Calvary' moves onto location in the Fingal town within days.
Work on the set on the green in the seaside town has already started for the latest offering from John Michael McDonagh, best known as the writer-director of the acclaimed film, ' The Guard', which captured an extraordinary performance from Gleeson. Filming has already begun in Sligo and production will move to Rush during the middle of the month when the temporary church that is under construction on the green beside the harbour will be burnt down as part of the filming.
