A MAN who stole a camera from a premises at an industrial park was given a three month suspended sentence at Swords District Court last week.

John Alright (33), Shangan Gardens, Ballymun, pleaded guilty to jumping over a rear wall and entering Gannon's City Recovery Service, Roseville Industrial Park, Turvey Avenue, Donabate on Sunday, July 1. Fiona D'Arcy, solicitor for Mr Alright, said that her client was under the influence of drugs at the time he committed the offence. He is now taking steps to address his drug addiction and he realises that it was a very foolish thing to do. Imposing the suspended sentence, Judge Dermot Dempsey ordered the defendant to enter into a bond to keep the peace and be of good behaviour for one year.
