HUGE crowds flocked to Dardistown Castle last Sunday for the first Sullivans Property Consultants House and Home exhibition.
The exhibition, the first of its kind locally, was a tremendous success, with nearly 3,000 present throughout the afternoon.
It was aimed both at people new to house buying in the area, featuring all aspects of the business from mortgage advice and homes on sale through to established residents with advice on interior decorating (from castle owner Lizanne Allen!), conservatories, gardening and even changing your car!
‘It was a unique day, where people had the opportunity to go over the whole house buying, house financing and decorating spectrum,’ said Fintan Sullivan.
‘The fact that it was held in the Castle grounds led to a lovely atmosphere, both in and out of the marquee.
All of the exhibitors on the day did great business, according to Fintan, and the Fingal Independent can vouch for that.
Our stall at the event was thronged with people, sampling their local paper taking copies of Living in Fingal and Living in Drogheda, and exchanging views with staff.
We ran a competition on the day, and the winner of the ?200 first prize was Lorretta Ludlow, Collierstown, Bellewstown, Co Meath.
