FOLLOWING its transition to a new venue, Swords Comedy Club had a successful, sell-out night at The Old Boro recently.
The move came to make the top class comedy acts more accessible to the people of Swords and surrounding areas, in a more intimate venue.
'We had a brilliant show at the opening night of the Comedy Club in The Old Boro at the end of March,' said Mark Stanley, founder of Swords Comedy Club.
'The room was packed and full and we had three great performances from Chris Kent, Eleanor Tiernan and Fred Cooke.'
The next show will take place on Thursday, April 24, where comedian Andrew Stanley will return as MC of the show.
Joining him will be Ireland's oldest and least successful boy band, Totally Wired and one of the finalists from RTE's New Comedy Awards, Colm Tyrrell.
Starting at 8.45 p.m., tickets for the comedy night are priced at €12 on the door or €10 pre-sale from entertainment.ie
