RUSH CHEF Fiona Crosby from Channel Road, Rush, scooped two bronze medals at the Salon Culinaire 2012, the annual staff culinary competition organised by Sodexo, one of Ireland's leading food and facilities management providers with 2,000 staff based in 220 client locations nationwide.
Fiona, who is second chef at the Central Bank in Dame Street, took bronze in the Filled Sponge, Gateau or Cake (Chef ) class and another bronze for her 'Hansel and Gretel Fairytale' entry into the Novelty Cake class. Work colleague Philip Aherne from Swords was awarded a Certificate of Merit for his entry into the Cold Chicken Salad class.
