Brush up on your Irish at the Bus Bar

CIORCAL Comhra is a lively Irish conversation group that meets every Tuesday in the Bus Bar in Skerries in a bid to keep the Irish language not just alive, but vibrant in this corner of north Fingal.
The group was formed by three Irish language enthusiasts, Tom, Liam and Diarmuid O'Suilleabhain in September 2012 and Ciorcal Comhrá now enjoys a following of some twenty five Gaelgoiri!
This is an eclectic gathering comprising writers, farmers, poets, sailors, scientists, teachers and dreamers. Ciorcal Comhra includes those with limited, average and fluent Gaeilge so there's no need to feel intimidated, whatever level you are at.
The Bus Bar's comfortable, friendly atmosphere is conducive to the conversation and the events provide opportunities to learn, improve, and practice an Ghaeilge in a relaxed and informal way.
A more structured approach may develop in the group. Sharing the richness of an Ghaeilge, accuracy with grammar and expanding the vocabulary are some of the features being explored by the group. If you want to find out more then contact firstname.lastname@example.org or just go along to one of the group's weekly meetings.
