WORK ON the ground is complete but there are still a few legal hurdles to get over before Brookford Park in Rush can finally be taken in charge by Fingal County Council.
Asked for a progress report on the taking in charge process at the estate by Cllr Ken Farrell (Lab), the council explained: 'All agreed landscape works have been completed in respect of Brookford Park, Rush.
'The documentation relating to transfer of the Deeds of Dedication and processing the taking in charge of the public open space has been forwarded to the receiver and we await return of these documents. 'Multiple reminders were sent to the receiver's office in recent months to expedite the legal transfer. Until the appropriate Deeds of Dedication have been transferred to the council responsibility for the day to day management rests with the receiver.'
