The airport stores made the final list in three separate categories: The Loop at Dublin and Cork Airport is short listed in the 'Company of the Year' category; Jo Malone in T2, The Loop at Cork Airport and the Topaz filling station at Dublin Airport are shor listed in the 'Top 100 Stores' category; and 26-year-old Victoria Secrets Manager, Karen Grehan, from Malahide, is a finalist in the Manager of the Year category.

'I am overwhelmed to have been selected as a finalist for this prestigious award. It is such a fantastic achievement for my team, our beautiful store and myself,' said Karen

With only nine months passed since the store opened in T2, this nomination to the final is recognition for the hard work of Karen and her team in establishing the store here at Dublin Airport.

'My passion and enthusiasm for this business is what keeps my team motivated and driven and to see that hard work recognised just makes myself and the team strive to be the best,' Karen said.

Dublin Airport Director of Retail Paul Neeson said: 'The Retail Excellence Ireland Awards is the benchmark by which the best in Irish retail are judged and I am delighted that many of our stores have made the final list in three separate categories.

'I am particularly pleased that one of our managers has been selected as a finalist in the Manager of the Year category.'

Category winners will be announced at the Retail Excellence Ireland Awards in November.
