Adjourned

A SWORDS man who is charged with the theft of glasses from an opticians had his case adjourned for a plea at Swords District Court last week.

David Markowski of Abbeylea Close in Swords is alleged to have stolen two pairs of glasses valued at €548 from Swords Eye Centre on August 4 2012. Sergeant Bob Kavanagh told the court that no further disclosure is required and there is no CCTV footage of the alleged incident. Judge Dermot Dempsey remanded 24-year-old Markowski on bail until September 24 for a plea. He also ordered the attendance of a Polish interpreter.
