All funds raised through the partnership go directly to Aware's education programme Beat the Blues which is delivered to students in secondary schools throughout Ireland. Martin Geraghty, Store Manager, Tesco Extra Balbriggan said: 'We want to say an enormous thank you to our customers in Dublin who have helped us to raise such a significant amount for Aware. This support has been replicated throughout the country having raised over €500,000 to date for Aware.' Aware's Beat the Blues programme, supported by Tesco, is a positive mental health initiative and helps young people to learn ways of dealing with everyday challenges they face.
