Twinning group seeks new members

THE BALROTHERY Twinning Association is about to have its AGM and has appealed for new members to join and experience the culture, cuisine and music of France.

Balrothery is twinned with Landéan in the Breton region of France and the friendship between the two towns has grown year on year since the link was first established in 1995. In those 17 years there has been all kinds of cultural exchanges between the two towns to the benefit of both and it is hoped that the strong bonds established between Balrothery and Landean will continue far into the future. All that depends on the great work of the twinning committee and this is your opportunity to join in. The committee's AGM is scheduled to take place at the Balrothery Heritage Centre on Wednesday, October 10 at 9pm. New members are always welcome so why not go along and find out what it is all about and take the opportunity to immerse yourself in French culture and make some new international friends.
