COMMITTED charity fundraiser, Barney Greene, has led out another impressive convoy of tractors across rural Fingal with his first charity tractor run of the new year.
Barney's annual charity tractor run in aid of St Francis Hospice began and ended once again at the Man O'War pub where it sets off in the early days of the new year.
Barney, as ever, led the tractors on their tour of north Fingal on his famous Dexta and he is grateful for everyone that came out on the day to support this great fundraising event for a most worthy cause.
The charity tractor run was in aid of St Francis Hospice and when all the money was counted, it came to a whopping €6,229, adding to the tens of thousands of euro that Barney has already raised for charity.
A grateful Gene Murphy from St Francis Hospice received the cheque from Barney which no doubt, will be put to good use by St Francis Hospice.
Huge congratulations goes to Barney and his army of volunteers and everyone who was involved in the successful event.
