Tour operator in local business boost

MALAHIDE CHAMBER of Commerce has been in contact with a tour operator, Destination Services Ireland, who has agreed to bring a series of tour coaches to visit and shop in Malahide which will provide a huge boost to business in the town.
The chamber have liaised with the tour operator to ensure this business comes to the town and in conjunction with local Garda Sergeant Cox, have arranged coach parking for the visiting tourists who are coming mostly from Norway. As Norway is not in the EU, they are entitled to Tax Free Shopping, so local business hope they will use the opportunity to spend some of their money in Malahide and enjoy the beautiful coastal village on their short visit. The first coaches stopped in the village on September 21 and are due back in town on October 6 and October 12.
