A TASTY fundraiser for the Molly McNally Miracle Trust has raised a mouth-watering €6,800 for this great local cause as the community continues to rally around the brave five-year-old who is locked in a battle against a rare childhood cancer.

Moriarty's Supervalu in Balbriggan have been the latest to step up to the plate in support of the cause and recently held a hugely successful Wine and Food Fair at the Bracken Court Hotel, for the trust.

The final total is in this week from the event, and shows the fair, attended by more than 200 people, raised a whopping €6,800.

Huge thanks goes out from the organisers to everyone who helped put the event together, and especially for the unswerving support of Moriarty's Supervalu and all its management and staff.

Prior to the event, the family of Molly McNally said: 'As always the town of Balbriggan has shown us tremendous support and we hope that continues by supporting this event for Molly.'

That faith in their neighbours was rewarded with huge support not only for this event, but a continuing list of fundraisers for the cause held locally and further afield.
