Students show they have the 'F Factor' in talent

STUDENTS FROM Fingal Community College in Swords ended the year on a high note with the staging of its highly popular F Factor Talent Show.

Some 12 acts took part, each one bringing something unique to the show and there were some amazing musical and singing talents were involved. The four judges, comprising two teachers and two Transition Year students, had a tough decision but after much deliberation, the winners were chosen. First place was awarded to Hannah Leonard, Daniella Salazar and Olivia Sheridan for their beautiful rendition of 'Little Things' by One Direction. Marcus Ring from First Year was also a huge hit with the audience and was awarded the runners-up spot. Marcus sang 'My Immortal' and had everyone to their feet to show their approval. Third place was awarded to Merben Soco who sang magnificently on the day. He was accompanied by Gerry Gonzales on guitar. It was a thoroughly enjoyable day from start to finish. Well done to all who participated and helped with the show.
