Published 09/10/2012 | 12:40

FORGET WATCHING Strictly Come Dancing on the television this week and go out and experience the joys of ballroom dancing live at the Wright Venue in Swords where there is a special Strictly Come Dancing night in aid of a very worthy charity.

CARI provides essential support and counselling to children and families affected by child sexual abuse and in a bid to raise cash for this extraordinary organisations, some brave volunteers have put their best foot forward to lean how to waltz and foxtrot their way across a dance floor. The will be performing at the Wright Venue on October 13 in what CARI are calling the Strictly Come Dancing Challenge. Tickets are now on sale for just €20 for the show alone or €30 to include a barbecue and after show party at the Wright Venue Penthouse. Tickets can be purchased from CARI directly or on the door of the venue on the night. CARI said: 'Proceeds raised from the event on October 13 will go towards shining a light on lives darkened by child sexual abuse.' Contestants in the show are professionally trained and are set to compete in front of a special panel of judges and dance their individual routines in a bid to win the overall title. CARI promise great experience for all participants, wonderful entertainment for all guests and hopefully, a very successful fundraising event for the organisation.
