Keogh family celebrate day of the potato

THE KEOGH Family and their little farmer friends were all on hand at Dublin's Docklands as they mucked in to celebrate Keogh's National Potato Day 2012 recently.
The second annual National Potato Day saw the Oldtown-based family help to encourage the people of Ireland to revisit their roots and grow their love for the humble spud by eating one portion of potatoes on Saturday. The Keogh family has been growing potatoes in North County Dublin for over 200 years. Whether you like your potato baked, fried, roasted, boiled or with the jacket on or off, join in this celebration and enjoy at least one potato National Potato Day.
