Visit your local Sky Retailer, Dowling Sky to discover how easy it is to join and who will provide you with hassle free installation. Olympic Gold-medallist Katie Taylor is Sky's ambassador for the Digital Switchover and she agrees that it's time for viewers to make the switch if they haven't done so already: ' TV plays such an important role in Irish people's lives so I'm pleased to help Sky raise awareness of the need to switch to Digital TV. If you don't have Digital TV at the moment, you'll be left with a blank screen so make sure you make the switch!' Sky was the first company to provide digital television in Ireland over 13 years ago in 1999 so we have the experience in providing top quality digital services to our customers. Installation is simple and there's 24/7 customer care available.

Customers have access to all their favourite Irish channels and many more. With the basic package - the Entertainment Pack (€25 per month) - there are 39 channels including RTÉ One, RTÉ Two, TV3, 3e, TG4, BBC and Channel 4, as well as Sky 1, home of the hit Irish comedy Moone Boy starring Chris O'Dowd and filmed in his hometown of Boyle. In addition, a whole other host of channels are available such as Sky Living, Sky Atlantic, Sky News, National Geographic and Gold. Furthermore because Sky customers have a satellite dish, they can receive over 200 free-to-air channels. The Sky+ box itself brings even more benefits such as allowing customers to pause live television, to record all episodes of a show, and can store up to 185 hours of programmes at a time. Sky is at the forefront of other major innovations in UK and Ireland, including stunning high definition which gives customers a viewing experience similar to that in a cinema, and the ability to watch their favourite programmes on the move with Sky Go on a mobile device, laptop or tablet. To find out more visit your local Sky expert, Dowling Sky, 38 Church Street, Skerries, Co Dublin, or call 01 8491564.
