Ronan Pentony (113) and Ciaran Donnelly (7) had a ding-doing battle in 2011 and the championship was finally presented to Ciaran last week.

ISOBEL MILLAR - wife of the late Joe Millar - passed away on Friday after a long battle with cancer.

Joe and Isobel ran the very successful Millar Transport in Randallstown Co. Antrim, and sponsored numerous top riders over the years.

They sponsored Con Law, Gene McDonnell, Eddie Laycock, Johnny Rea, and Chris Dowd and were responsible for one of the best private teams in Grand Prix Racing, when their famous red and yellow livery donned 500 Honda's and Yamahas with Eddie Laycock and Jeremy McWilliams.

Isobel was famous in her own right as a truck driver, and was a hands-on woman, driving her truck around Europe. Only before she took ill a few years ago, she had a new Scania on order. Isobel was buried after a short service on Sunday last. May she rest in peace.
