OVER the Skerries weekend the Two Stroke Supporters Club held a fund-raising night for the family of the late Noel Murphy, and Ollie's Place was packed.
During the Saturday race day, former rider and Skerries course resident Francis Everard and his family and friends held a fund-raising BBQ in their garden to raise funds for the family.
'We had a great day, and I would like to thank Keith Costello and his company Market Fayre, who sponsored the food for the day. Along with the BBQ, we also held a bucket collection and we raised €1,154.
'Owen Everard and his friends decided to top off the money to €1,200, and then we got more money in and this came to €1,240,' said Francis.
'We would like to thank everyone who made the effort to support this worthy cause.'
