Fair ladies doing some festive business

FEMALE entrepreneurs from a wide variety of business, including artisan foods, craft, design and services, have showcased their productions at a season fair at Malahide Castle.

Approximately 35 business took part in the Christmas event, organised by Fingal County Enterprise Boardm, which proved to be a great afternoon with lots of things to do for all the family/ Eve Bulman, Network Manager with Fingal Women in Business Network, said: ' The showcase gave people the chance to buy locally produced goods and support Irish companies as part of their Christmas shopping. Home-cooked tasty treats, craft and design was on offer at the Fayre along with advice from successful local businesswomen.' The Fingal Women in Business Network supports existing and upcoming women entrepreneurs in the Fingal region. Meeting on a monthly basis, its increasing membership includes entrepreneurs from all industries and disciplines (professionals, artists, craftspeople) and provides a forum for sharing, developing relationships, learning and socialising. This network allows members to learn about business from both their peers and recognised successful entrepreneurs, grow their contact base and network and develop strategic awareness in all critical areas for business â?“ creating a greater opportunity for their success in business.
