Entrance parking chaos

DOUBLE yellow lines or parking bays are among the measures being considered to bring order to a chaotic parking situation at the entrance to Warren Estate in Malahide.
Cllr Eoghan O'Brien (FF) asked that council 'inspect the parking situation along the entrance to the Warren Estate in Malahide, particularly along the green areas and state whether designated parking bays could be installed such as are used on St Margaret's Road, Malahide to improve safety in the area'.
Cllr O'Brien was concerned that the parking situation in the area would endanger children playing on the green spaces and raised his concerns at a meeting of the Malahide/Howth Area Committee.
The council's traffic section responded to Cllr O'Brien's concerns, saying: 'Consideration will be given to the installation of limited double yellow lines in the vicinity of the entrance to the estate.
'The option of providing designated parking bays will also be examined.'
