Dog dirt

THE council is considering rewording their dog fouling warning signs to warn dog owners of the link between dog dirt and childhood blindness. The suggestion to alter the signs was made by Cllr Cian O'Callaghan (NP). The local authority responded: 'Prior to ordering signs for 2014, inspectorate division will examine the possible rewording of the signs in an attempt to provide information about the link between dog dirt and childhood blindness.'
