THE LAUNCH party has begun for the latest fundraiser for the DAA charity of the year which takes the form of a Strictly Come Dancing style competition between DAA staff members and members of Suttonians Rugby Club.
Over 50 competitors are undergoing a dance training programme with Dance addiction Ireland for a Strictly Come Dancing type event launched in Portmarnock last week. They will learn a number of dance moves over the six weeks and will be displaying their skills to a packed Regency Airport Hotel, on September 21st.
The DAA and Suttonians Rugby Club in conjunction with Kevin Rowe Events are organising this event with the charities to benefit including DAA charity of the year, Barretstown as well as the IRFU Charitable Trust and the 3ts - Turning the Tide of Suicide. The glitzy launch for this event was held recently at the White Sands Hotel in Portmarnock. Tickets for the event will be on sale at €20 and are expected to sell out very soon.
