SINGER-SONGWRITERS and poets have a new outlet in at the Old Boro in Swords every second Thursday where a new addition to nightlife in the county capital is underway.Dubbed ' The Chandelier Sessions', the fortnightly event at the Old Boro gives local musicians and songwriters and even budding poets, a chance to perform in front of a live audience. As well as giving an outlet to these fledgling artists, the Chandelier Sessions also gives audiences a welcome alternative aimed at true music and lyric lovers. The sessions have been going now for a few weeks and are already building a reputation as a great night out and a welcome addition to the music scene in Swords. When the live acts are done, a DJ takes over playing suitable tunes for a song-loving audience taken from the 1940s to the 1960s. It all begins at 9pm and carries on until late every second Thursday at the Swords pub with the next Chandelier Session due to take place on November 15.
