A BOLLARD has been placed at the gate on Rolestown Drive to stop 'boy racers' using the road to the local cemetery as a race-track at night.
Cllr Tom Kelleher (Lab) asked for a barrier adjacent to the gate at Rolestown Drive to 'prevent night-time access to the graveyard area'.
Cllr Kelleher alleged that 'boy racers' were using the road at night and that there was 'possible drug dealing' going on in the area.
The council agreed to his request and have already erected the bollard which, it is hoped, will end antisocial behaviour in the area at night.
