The presence of the hotel along with industry partners from around the island are part of a push by Tourism Ireland to grow conference and business tourism from Grand Hotel.

Attracting thousands of leading business tourism buyers from around Britain and Europe, the three-day event offered excellent opportunities for the Irish representatives to do business face-to-face with influential decision-makers through a series of pre-scheduled appointments and networking opportunities.

David Boyce, Tourism Ireland's head of business and sports tourism, said: 'The Meetings Show is a brand new opportunity for Tourism Ireland and our partners to build awareness of our world-class business and conference facilities, as well as the great experiences delegates can enjoy in Ireland on the sidelines of their conference or meeting.

'The superb meetings, incentive and transport infrastructure on offer, coupled with our distinctive cultural experience, means the island of Ireland is a very attractive destination for the business tourism market in GB.'
