'Wolf in the Village' concert in aid of Trust
A CLASSICAL concert called 'A Wolf in the Village' is the latest fundraiser lined up for the popular local charity, the Laura Brennan Charitable Trust.
Established in 2008 by Pat and Nuala Brennan, the trust is named after the couple's beloved daughter, Laura and its purpose is to raise much needed funds to support children up to the age of 18 years who suffer from serious, life-threatening or life-limiting illnesses.
It also seeks to ensure remaining family members, brothers and sisters are not forgotten throughout the duration of such illnesses.
Pat and Nuala set up this worthy charity in memory of their daughter Laura who passed away following a sudden illness.
'A Wolf in the Village', in aid of the trust, will be staged at The Village in Dublin's Wexford Street on Thursday, April 17 at 8pm.
The event promises to be an exciting and fun way to enjoy classical music and is being presented by Co-Orch Dublin.
The programme on the night includes the Cello Concerton No.1 by Shostakovich, Vocalise by Rachmaninov and Peter and the Wolf by Prokofiev.
Tickets are €15 and are available to purchase at Eventbrite.com – you can find out more at www.co-orch.org or www.laurabrennan.org
