Talented 25 get set for Malahide showdown

SOME 25 acts will compete in the much-anticipated final of the Malahide's Got Talent competition which will come to a glittering conclusion at the weekend.
The youngters will perform in The Grand Hotel on Sunday at 6:30pm. There will be a panel of judges and everyone in the audience will also have the opportunity to vote for their favourite act.
Organised by Malahide Musical Society, prizes include, time in a recording studio, €200 and €100.

The finalists are: Alannah Mc Knight, Alexandra Pusca, Caragh Moriarty, Ciara Mc Kenna, Ciarán O'Connor and Andrea Rochee, Clodagh Byrne, All Starz dancers;
Ella Mc Carthy, Ellen Barry, Emily Collins, Emma Kearns, Eva Cashell and Sarah Whyms;
Georgia Godall, Grace Maughan, Hana Kelly, Holly Kelly, Jack and Zara Husse, Jessica Horan; Kristine Bodrova, Lorna Barron, Malaidh Larki, Robert Duff, Robert Meehan, Sophie Crinion and Zara Crinion
Society PRO Marissa Magner said this is the third year of the competition and it is getting bigger and better every year.
Proceeds raised from the event will go towards staging the group's upcoming show in February.
Members are busy rehearsing for its musical extravaganza in February - 'It's Showtime!' featuring some well known songs from musicals such as Chicago, Anything Goes, Mary Poppins, Mamma Mia, A Chorus Line , My Fair Lady and many more.
The event will lso feature special guests this year including the children from local stage school Rising Star. The show will take place in Scoil Iosa from February 18th-21st February
