A NEW single and album is on the way from the classic rock band based in Fingal, The Ride or Die Gang.
'Integral' is the first single from the band's forthcoming album and is available now. The album is due for release in February of next year there will be further singles from the band before then.
The song is described as a 'vibrant guitar fest examining the discontent we all experience having to slog on the treadmill of modern life'.
The band has members that hail from Lusk and Swords and are well known across the county.
Frontman, Rory O'Connor, told the Fingal Independent: 'We all need to feel we belong, and play an important role in the world around us but the reality is, most of us are told what to and where to be.
'It's a terrible burden having to focus so much energy on keeping a job and keeping your home, The working man is the real hero.'
Delivered in 'tongue-in-cheek' fashion and with heaps of attitude, 'Integral' is a rock anthem for the disenfranchised to shout back at the drudgery that robs their lives of meaning.
Or if you prefer, it's just a terrific rock song that sounds great at the top of your voice in the shower.
The Ride or Die Gang are: Rory O' Connor (vocals and guitar), Teeyeff (guitar and backing vocals), Mike Heffernan (drums and backing vocals).
The band members are all experienced musicians with similar rock credentials and they are passionate craftsmen of classic rock songs featuring strong melodies and lyrical snapshots of daily life.
