ONE OF Ireland's top writers will be at the centre of events as the Fingal Writers' Festival winds to a close this coming weekend as Joseph O'Connor performs of a reading of his latest work at Farmleigh House.
To mark the publication of his new collection of short stories, 'Where Have You Been?', Joseph O'Connor will give his only Dublin reading from the book at Farmleigh, with a couple of his beloved radio diaries from RTE's ' Drivetime With Mary Wilson' and answers questions from the audience afterwards. Joseph has been described by the Irish Times as 'a writer who reveals the power of the short story to speak for our times' and is the recipient of this year's Irish PEN Award for Outstanding Achievement in Irish Literature. This event is presented in association with Farmleigh and the OPW.
