Curracloe United 1, Ballindaggin 0: Division 1 side Ballindaggin gave Premier champions Curracloe a few scares in the Under-14 cup final on Tuesday evening before the Premier side eventually did enough to lift the cup for the second year in a row.
In a closely-fought encounter, both sides produced some entertaining football but the Premier champions used their experience to eventually do enough to win.
Siobhán Doolan scored the only goal after a sustained period of pressure from her side and despite pressing for an equaliser, Ballindaggin were unable to break down a resolute defence as Curracloe held on to lift the cup.
Aine Murphy of Ballindaggin picked up a well-deserved player of the match award after an excellent performance in the centre of the defence.
