THE FRONT lawn of Wells House and Gardens will provide the perfect backdrop for a performance of Jane Austen's 'Sense and Sensibility' on Tuesday, July 22.
Using the great house as a backdrop, Chapterhouse Theatre will present an evening of Regency wonderment.
Audience members are invited to bring a picnic along with family and friends and follow the sisters as they find their path and lose their hearts under an evening summer sky in their quest to find the perfect balance of sense and sensibility.
The recommended arrival time for the show at Wells House and Gardens is 6.30 p.m. The event will go ahead even if there is rain, and it won't be cancelled unless there is a severe weather forecast. There will be a small space to allow seating for the elderly or special needs and guests are asked to bring their own seating, cushions, or blankets. The event is wheelchair accessible.
