A WEXFORD man has been returned for trial on twelve charges of indecent assault.
The defendant appeared before Judge Gerard Haughton at Wexford District Court on Monday last, for service of the Book of Evidence.
Investigating Garda Robert Aylward told the court that the Book of Evidence had been served on the defendant.
Defence Solicitor, Mr. Timothy Cummings, said that there are similar charges already before the Circuit Court. He applied for Free Legal Aid in the case.
Granting the application for Free Legal Aid, Judge Haughton said he would send the defendant forward for trial to the next sitting of Wexford Circuit Criminal Court.
He remanded the defendant on continuing bail to appear before the Circuit Court on January 15 next.
