Twins bring double delight

IT was a proud day last Saturday afternoon for the Molumby and Cleary families as twins Oisin and Fionn Molumby were christened at St. Michael's Church in Gorey.
They were brought to the church by their mother Niamh, and their proud godparents. Fionn has two godmothers - Muireann Molumby, Niamh's sister, and Joy Melbourne, while Oisin's godmothers are Tara O'Brien and Sebana Moynagh. Conor O'Brien has the honour of being godfather to both.
Looking fondly on were members of Niamh's family from Gorey, Dublin, Limerick, Galway and Banbridge. Keeping an eye on proceedings was the proud grandmother Bríd Cleary, and their grandfather Barry Molumby, as well as their great-grandparents, Stephen and Aine Cleary from Limerick and Florrie Molumby from Gorey. Other great-grandfather Denis Molumby couldn't be present but sent his best wishes.
The two boys made sure they were heard as Fr. Tommy Conroy baptised them, before everyone adjourned to the family home at Twin Oaks, Clonattin to celebrate. Niamh thanked everyone for making it a special day for the new family members.
