On Friday night last the Presentation Art Centre, Enniscorthy hosted its second Open Call Exhibition, celebrating the creative talent that exists in the locality and surrounding areas.

Now in year two, the Open Call has flourished and developed and this year submissions have come from artists locally, nationally and even internationally.

There are no limits on size, theme or age for Open Call which serves as a reminder that creativity has no bounds, and that was indeed evident from the variety and diversity of the marvellous work on display. The Exhibition provides the artist with the unique opportunity to share creativity and wall space with artists of all calibres.

The exhibition was opened by curator Lisa Byrne, who complimented all those who contributed to the inspired showcase, saying that it demonstrates the passion for arts in the area. 'Both professional and amateur artists have come forward to exhibit their work and it makes for a really exciting show, Lisa said, 'through the continued success of the Open Call we aim to ensure that this established Exhibition is on display annually in Enniscorthy, supporting the exhibiting artists and future exhibitors through sale of their work and generating an appreciation of all things creative.

The Exhibition will run at the Presentation Art Centre until June 23 so do call in and see for yourself the wonderful work being done in Enniscorthy.
