NEWS OF the sudden death of a 33-year-old man in England was broken to a shocked Enniscorthy family yesterday (Monday). Word of the passing of Owen Kinsella in Leeds was brought by gardaí after they were notified of the tragedy by police in West Yorkshire.
Owen, son of William and Elizabeth Kinsella from Meadowlands at the Ross Road, had been living in England for three years. However, he had returned on a visit to his home and went back to England last Wednesday. Police in England confirmed that they were called to the scene on Sunday. They discovered the body in an apartment where it is believed he had been visiting friends. Investigators are awaiting the results of laboratory tests but a spokesman said that the incident was not being treated as suspicious. No arrests were made. Members of the bereaved Kinsella family flew to England yesterday, intending to bring the remains home.
Owen Kinsella is survived by his parents and by his four brothers, Patrick, Billy, Ciarán and Tomás.
