ADAM Leacy from Courtnacuddy and Kerri Doyle from Kiltealy were back in the winners' enclosure at the recent All-Ireland junior ballroom dance championships.

Back at the scene of last year's triumph, they took the Dolmen Hotel in Carlow by storm as they were best in waltz, tango, slow foxtrot, Viennese waltz and quick-step against the best from around Ireland and the UK.

The two 11 year olds are coached by Fiona Hutton in Carlow.

They also combined up with Hannah Leacy and Chloe O'Donovan and two other couples to be best in the team event at the championships run by the World Dance Council.
